Gina Voci joined Opus One in 1989 and currently serves as Central States Divisional Sales Manager, overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing in seventeen states. She is liaison to a distributor network of fifty wholesalers, and manages the shipment and depletions of Opus One from the winery to the consumer.
Prior to Ms. Voci’s current appointment, she spent six years in sales and marketing for Robert Mondavi Winery in San Francisco, Denver and Chicago. Before entering the wine business in 1983, she taught high school English and Art for five years in Los Angeles and San Jose, California. Ms. Voci holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Santa Clara University, teaching credentials from San Jose State University, and studied art at Gonzaga University in Florence, Italy. She currently resides in Chicago with her husband and two daughters.
Ms. Voci has presided at numerous educational wine tastings, seminars, and dinners for small and large industry groups, including professional culinary schools, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and retailers, as well as consumer groups such as The American College of Surgeons, YPO, and most recently as Honorary Chairperson to Fanfare for the Arts.
Opus One produces ultra-premium wines at its Napa Valley winery in Oakville, California. The 2003 vintage is distributed in all 50 U.S. States and 64 foreign countries worldwide.
